Park County, CO - A new law went into effect on July 1, 2024 that changes the way in which Treasurer’s Deeds are issued. Going forward, deeds will NOT be automatically issued to the Lien Holder, instead, the “option” for Treasurer’s Deed will be sold at an Online Public Auction to the highest bidder. Considering increases in postage fees, clerk recording fees, and other expenses, we are increasing our application deposit for the Treasurer’s Deed process to $1,000.
