Park County, CO - Park County Sheriff's Office has confirmed through close collaboration with our law enforcement partners in Pearl River County, Mississippi, that Hailey Cole and Johnny Morris are currently in custody. They are being held on local charges, including commercial burglary and possession of burglary tools.
It is important to note that Cole and Morris have been identified as people of interest in the ongoing homicide investigation of Tim Huston. Mr. Huston was tragically discovered deceased inside his Hartsel home on Christmas Eve, under circumstances that indicate a violent crime.
This case remains a high priority for our agency and continues to be an active and dynamic investigation. We are working in close partnership with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation and the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, pooling resources and expertise to ensure a thorough and comprehensive investigation.
