New Fairgrounds Development Project

Final Comprehensive Fairgrounds Master Plan

Since those early days of planning, which started in 2020, the idea of building a new fairgrounds complex in Fairplay has evolved. The University Technical Assistance Program (UTAP) is a professional design service offered through the University of Colorado at Denver. The program is funded through a generous grant from the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA).

CU Denver's UTAP designs are a result of a creative design process that responds to the vision of community stakeholders and is then presented to the public for their comment and feedback. This community engagement ensures that such projects have the support of the residents and allows various funding agencies to be assured that the money they provide is truly serving the citizens of the area and the State of Colorado. You can review the Fairgrounds Master Plan and provide input using the survey below.
