Communicable Disease Control / Investigation

Park County Public Health is responsible for communicable disease, zoonotic and vector borne disease surveillance, investigation and control. A key component of the work Park County Public health does is around the prevention of communicable diseases by providing guidance and information to the public about preventing the spread of the disease and as appropriate, making treatment recommendations. This could include natural occurring diseases or man-made threats.

Park County Public Health will provide public information and community education regarding any public health threat.
